We understand the pressures that hauliers face better than anyone, and Mansel Davies Garages offers an exceptional Parts and Service Department, focussed on keeping our customers on the road, and keeping down time to a minimum.
We first took on the Volvo parts and service franchise in 1982 primarily to service our own fleet of Volvo trucks. Kaye Mansel Davies saw the opportunity an ‘in house’ parts and servicing department would offer to improve the haulage services he could provide, reducing ‘down time’ of vehicles experiencing maintenance issues by having access to Volvo parts and Volvo trained mechanics, on site. We now provide this alongside Volvo and Isuzu new truck sales, completing the total package offer to our customers.
A comprehensive ‘first pick’ parts service
We offer a 93-95% ‘first pick’ parts service, vital for keeping your trucks on the road and avoiding the downtime that can cost your business. Our dedicated Parts and Service team can answer your questions and help you find what you need. We have a fully trained team of mechanics to manage the routine maintenance of your fleet, and to help you resolve any unexpected issues swiftly and cost effectively.
Further customer benefits are our satellite workshops at Carmarthen, Letterston (where we also have a purpose built VOSA Approved MOT testing station ) and Temple Bar near Aberaeron, as well as our main depot at Llanfyrnach near Crymych, Pembrokeshire. With a workshop not far from you, we can keep your fleet well-maintained and on the road.
Roadside Response
We operate a rapid response roadside service meaning we can usually reach a truck that’s experiencing problems within our own area in an hour; and if you or your drivers are further afield, you benefit from being part of the Volvo network, covering the whole of the UK.
Our body repair and paint shop is recognised and approved by all major insurance companies.
