A lifeline for the West Wales economy
We are the largest milk haulier in Wales, collecting from 450 farms, and distributing 1.5 million litres of milk to the UK’s primary milk buyers every day. We also carry edible oils, cream and milk fractions, such as whey. Our fleet of bulk tippers delivers raw materials for animal feed, and we have animal feed bulk blowers to deliver the finished feed to farms. We also offer a complete bulk lime supply and spreading service.
Beyond the Bridge
Of course, our service doesn’t just stop at the Severn Bridge – we travel across the UK delivering milk from the farms of West Wales, collecting other bulk products, and freight; we also operate a freighting service to Ireland in partnership with Perennial Freight which covers the southern corridor of England and Wales. We’re happy to work in Welsh or English, and always aim to understand our customers and their businesses, so that we can provide the haulage service they require.
Our logistics operation is expertly managed by our traffic planning team based at Llanfyrnach. Their job is to ensure that our services run efficiently. Our highly trained in house Volvo servicing team means our fleet operates smoothly, guaranteeing your goods will be collected and delivered on time

Choosing Mansel Davies is not just about choosing reliability, although that’s a big part of our service. Our size and local knowledge, and our commitment to our customers means we are also flexible and agile: we’ve been known to re-route our tankers to accommodate a customer who’s been let down by another haulier, and we’ve even expanded into the animal feed production business to support another customer.
As hauliers ourselves, we know how important it is not only to have a dependable fleet of trucks, but an exceptional after sales service. Our Volvo HGV and Isuzu dealership, which includes a parts and service franchise, not only supplies trucks, but has an enviable 93 – 95% first pick parts service. With workshops across the area we serve, whether it’s our own trucks or those of our Volvo customers, we get vehicles back on the road quickly and efficiently, meaning no one loses out on valuable business.
